Why does looking after myself feel like booking a blood test? You know exactly what I mean. The thing you keep putting off, one more task on top of the thousand that modern life already hands you.
At some point it just stopped being worth it to me.
Not because I'm not hooked on walking out of a manicurist and staring at my own perfect hands.
Not because I want to do my own hair and make-up for a friend's wedding - which means being stressed, taking my hair down and redoing it three times, and of course ruining the eyeliner a minute before we leave.
But because I just wanted the beauty. Not the project around it.
And that is how Belle was born
I'm Stav - a software engineer with a computer engineering degree from the Technion. I live and breathe technology, and I'm also the biggest beauty girl there is.
For years I felt like I was living between those two worlds.
Today I'm bringing them together.
I want to make the way we book beauty simpler, easier and more flexible - no searching, no back-and-forth, no scheduling. Like a food delivery app, only for beauty instead of takeaway.
And at the same time, to create a new generation of beauty professionals who aren't tied to a clinic or a fixed lease, but free to choose where, how and how much they work.
And honestly? I'm building Belle because I'm its first customer. So we had better make it happen - I have a lot of weddings in October.
